ECLAM Residents and Laboratory Animal Veterinarians: Registration for 2023 Mock Exam

The mock exam is given every year, now online. It is a great way to assess readiness for the certification exam. There is no cost to ECLAM residents; non-residents will be invoiced for €50 to cover exam administration software costs.

The mock exams have been held since 2007. Based on the enthusiastic response, the exam is improving in quality and relevance. 

The exam will be held on the 3rd of June 2023 in the morning, followed by a discussion period. There will be approximately 100 multiple-choice questions on the exam, which will be computer-graded. A few short essay questions will also be included, and will be discussed after the exam. Scores and reports will be sent to participants once the exams have been graded, with feedback and suggestions for improvement.

Following the online exam, there will be a meeting via Zoom to discuss strategies for success on the exams, and be able to ask questions about preparation. This is also a great opportunity to network with other veterinarians interested in attaining the ECLAM Diploma. The discussion will be led by Diplomates who have recently passed the board exams.
