Do you need mouse models that more accurately reflect disease progression and treatment in genetically diverse patient populations? Unlike genetically uniform inbred mice, JAX diversity outbred (J:DO) mice have high genetic and phenotypic diversity resulting from intercrossing eight founder strains. In this webinar, we will discuss how J:DO mice promote translationally-relevant research in pharmacology, toxicology, and biomedical research. Join us to learn about the genetics of J:DO mice, study design using these mice, and data analysis for applications such as:

  • Modeling diverse populations for drug exposures and disease susceptibility
  • Investigating genetic and environmental basis of disease
  • High-resolution mapping of genes and quantitative trait loci (QTL)
