The zebrafish core facility at Karolinska Institutet, in collaboration with Nord University and Norecopa, would like to invite you to a hands-on zebrafish husbandry course. The aim of the course is to teach evidence-based methods and practical skills for housing and care of zebrafish. Topics will include:

• Biosafety
• Culture of rotifers, including polyculture
• Rearing and keeping zebrafish
• Animal welfare
• Aquatic techniques, including feeding robots
• Minor surgical procedures, including fin-clipping and tattooing
• Cryopreservation of zebrafish lines and IVF (an optional add-on for up to 5 participants on 16 November)
